As your organisation grows you might want to limit which admins can edit certain journeys and who can view certain employees' data.

To set up more strict access you first need to create groups.

You can find your groups under Employees > Access rights > Groups, keep in mind that only Global admins have permission to manage groups in Typelane.

When you've created your first group you can assign which employees and which journeys belong to it. You can manage this by clicking on the group or when creating a new employee or journey.

Selecting which employees belong to the group. Leaving this empty would mean that users that only have access to this group, would not have access to any employees.

And in the other tab you can select which journeys belong to the group. As with employees, leaving this empty would mean that users that only have access to this group, would not have access to any journeys.

Afterwards, you can limit the access for Admins and Hiring managers in Access rights.

Select the employee's role and which groups' data they should be able to view and manage. Keep in mind that leaving the group field empty in the access form grants the employee access to all groups.

Now that you've granted / updated access for an employee, you have control over what data they can view by managing the groups they have access to. You can always update group permissions later on.
